First 2 Learn is a family owned and operated childcare Sydney service, located at the doorstep of the shores of Botany Bay in Rockdale – within close proximity to Kogarah, Brighton-Le-Sands and Bexley.
Over four decades ago, a local resident who was a teacher and close family friend, identified the need to teach local children about matters of faith, as well as the English language, particularly in households where it was not primarily spoken.
Our parents, having always valued the importance of education, happily offered our family home as the meeting place for these weekend lessons to take place. Over time, numbers increased and before we knew it children from the broader neighbourhood started attending. The demand for the program being taught eventually outgrew our home and the local Primary School took over.
The rest, as they say, is history!
Forty years later, we have made it our mission to re-create and continue this legacy from our humble beginnings. While the building no longer resembles our much-loved family home, it has been replaced with a modern, purpose-built centre that is ready to serve the needs of today’s local families.
Being parents ourselves, we understand the importance of finding a centre that mirrors the warmth and security of your own home. Our highly qualified staff make every effort to treat you like a member of their own family, by creating an environment where your child will feel ‘at home’ and at ease.
