First 2 Learn is a family owned and operated childcare Sydney service, located at the doorstep of the shores of Botany Bay in Rockdale – within close proximity to Kogarah, Brighton-Le-Sands and Bexley.
Over four decades ago, a local resident who was a teacher and close family friend, identified the need to teach local children about matters of faith, as well as the English language, particularly in households where it was not primarily spoken.
Our parents, having always valued the importance of education, happily offered our family home as the meeting place for weekend lessons. Over time, attendance grew, and children from the broader neighbourhood started joining. Eventually, the demand for the program outgrew our home, leading the local Primary School to take over.
The rest, as they say, is history!
Forty years later, we are on a mission to continue this legacy from our humble beginnings. While the building no longer resembles our much-loved family home, it has been replaced with a modern, purpose-built centre ready to serve today’s local families.
Being parents ourselves, we understand the importance of finding a centre that mirrors the warmth and security of your own home. Our highly qualified staff treat you like family, creating an environment where your child feels at ease.
At First 2 Learn, we work closely with families to nurture each child’s developmental and educational journey. We also know how crucial nutrition is for growing children. That’s why we partner with Kids Gourmet Food to provide nutritious meals that include fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and proteins, accommodating dietary needs, including allergies, and vegetarian and vegan options.
